Where it’s from, a bit about it, perhaps a fun fact and how to store or keep fresh

Radish

The radishes in your box are sourced from Naturally Organic. Did you know the leafy green tops of these root veggies are edible too and are said to have a spicy flavour. While the root is peppery and crunchy and can be enjoyed uncooked in salads.

Leeks

ALL BOXES ~

Also from Naturally Organic, leeks can be cleaned in one of two ways. Before getting started with either method, rinse your leeks under water. For chopped leeks – after rinsing, add chopped pieces into a colander and rinse under cold water. Transfer leeks from colander to a bowl of cold water and use your hands to agitate the leeks and dislodge any dirt. For whole leeks – fan open the leek and place under cold running water to rinse out.

Exotic Mushrooms

~ MEDIUM, LARGE, VEGETARIAN & PlANT BASE BOXES ~
